摘要: Aim We sought to evaluate the feasibility of lateral approach for laparoscopic splenic vessel-preserving distal pancreatectomy (LA-SVPDP). Background Complete preservation vessels is an ideal outcome in spleen-preserving (SPDP). However, challenging surgery because vein often embedded pancreatic parenchyma. Herein we have described LA-SVPDP, most feasible method SPDP, and our initial experience. Patients Twenty-three patients underwent SPDP. Before adopted 8 Warshaw 6 SVPDP. After adoption LA-SVPDP 1 donor method. Results None undergoing required conversion open operation, whereas 2 patients other procedures were converted operations. Five out who showed engorgement gastric veins, revealed by computed tomography. only 5 mild varices on endoscopy. Conclusion Although acceptable with a low incidence analysis, SVPDP Our technique may contribute safer easier surgery.
