摘要: Summary This study examines the scope for efficiency gains in geopolitical coordination between European Union member states. The increasing number of states and implementation conservation actions at many different administrative levels indicate that will become increasingly important. potential scale is examined, using data on distribution 2676 plant species 181 mammal cost reducing agricultural production as an illustrative measure cost. indicates there may be considerable improvements representation if efforts EU are coordinated. current set implies increased resource allocation to southern parts EU, due high numbers range-restricted species. Surprisingly, also involves resources regions with costs.
