摘要: Purpose The effect of infant formulas sweetened or not with sucrose on primary enamel demineralization and dental biofilm is known. This study's purpose was to evaluate the formula association formed. Methods A cross-over, split-mouth, blind in situ study conducted during 3 phases, each 10 days duration, which 11 volunteers wore palatal appliances containing slabs human enamel. were extraorally subjected 8 times a day 6 groups treatment: distilled deionized water; 10% solution; milk-based soy-based without added. After phase, acidogenicity, biochemical microbiological composition formed analyzed, assessed by microhardness. Results Both induced significant mineral loss, increased when fermented, resulting decrease pH, irrespective addition. Also, lactobacilli counts higher presence both compared water group. Conclusions Milk present potential induce enamel, sucrose.
