摘要: Abandoned conifer plantation forests in Japan have been a major concern regarding ecosystem function and biodiversity conservation. Responding to local demands of sustainable forestry considering the roles mixed conserving biodiversity, national regional strategies are being prepared partly convert plantations into secondary turn. In this paper, as case study, we assessed potential impacts forest conversion on habitats large-sized vertebrates endangered (Ursus thibetanus Accipiter gentilis) common (Sus scrofa Cervus nippon) status Toyota city, Aichi prefecture. assessment, applied an approach that combines multiple indices including habitat suitability index (HSI), InVEST (Integrated Valuation Environmental Services Tradeoffs) model costs.
