摘要: Abstract OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to clarify the role telomerase activity in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). METHODS: Specimens from both HCC and noncancerous liver were obtained 39 patients with using a 14-gauge biopsy needle immediately after laparotomy. Telomerase determined telomeric repeat amplification protocol assay. 3+ defined as high group, 2+ or less low group. In liver, more an increased 1+ nonincreased correlation between clinicopathological factors, including prognosis, investigated. RESULTS: activities HCCs 0 one patient, two, seven, 29 patients. disease-free survival rate group significantly worse than that des-γ-carboxy prothrombin level (median, 330 mAU/ml) higher 150 mAU/ml). A multivariate analysis revealed TNM stage, HCC, female gender, α-fetoprotein value independent significant factors related be early recurrence. incidence multicentric occurrence (53.3%) tended (27.3%). CONCLUSION: correlated potential malignant, which expressed earlier recurrence hepatectomy activity.
