摘要: Background: Vitamin D receptor (VDR) expression has been shown to be upregulated in several tumors and is supposed represent an important endogenous response tumor progression. To investigate the role of VDR gene its influence on 25(OH)D3 1,25(OH)2D3 plasma levels thyroid carcinoma, we analyzed four polymorphisms patients healthy controls (HC). Methods: Patients with carcinoma (n = 172) (n = 132 for papillary n = 40 follicular) HC (n = 321) were genotyped ApaI (rs7975232), TaqI (rs731236), BsmI (rs1544410), FokI (rs10735810) within correlated levels. Results: The genotypes AA (rs7975232) FF significantly less frequent (12.5% vs. 35.2% 25% 42.1%, respectively, both corrected p [pc] = 0.04) follicular cancer (FTC) than HC.
