摘要: Objective The aim of this anatomic study is to describe a fully endoscopic lateral orbitotomy extradural approach the cavernous sinus, posterior, and infratemporal fossae. Material Methods Three prefixed latex-injected head specimens (six orbital exposures) were used in study. Before after dissection, computed tomography scan was performed on each cadaver neuronavigation system guide approach. The extent bone removal area exposure targeted corridor evaluated with aid OsiriX software (Pixmeo, Bernex, Switzerland). Results The offers four main routes: anteromedial, posteromedial, inferior. anteromedial route allows direct optic canal by anterior clinoid process, whereas posteromedial for wall sinus. posterior Meckel's cave provides access cranial fossa drilling petrous apex, inferior gives pterygopalatine fossae floor middle between second third branches trigeminal nerve. Conclusion The Advantages include favorable angle attack, minimal brain retraction, possibility dissection within two dural layers sinus without entering its neurovascular compartment.
