摘要: Abstract The subcellular localization of the A and B forms MAO in rat brain was examined. Although both enzymatic were found to be present synaptosomal fractions, B:A ratio fraction one-half that extrasynaptosomal mitochondrial obtained from whole brain. synaptic mitochondria, isolated following lysis synaptosomes. had same as nonlysed synaptosomes, suggesting (1) MAO-B activity is, indeed, associated with synaptosomes (2) this is located mitochondria. relative activities enzymes fractions greatly different among discrete regions, even though only small variations are evident homogenates. We conclude these data may nonuniformly populations endings.
