摘要: The spatial scan statistic is commonly used for geographical disease cluster detection, evaluation and surveillance. most shape of the scanning window circular. In this paper we explore an elliptic version statistic, using a variable location, (eccentricity), angle size, with without eccentricity penalty. method applied to breast cancer mortality data from Northeastern United States female oral in States. Power comparisons are made circular statistic.
