摘要: This report is intended as an interim guide for those who routinely face air quality problems associated with near-building exhaust stack placement and height, the resulting concentration patterns. Available data methods estimating wake flow effluent dispersion near isolated block-like structures are consolidated. The flows described, quantitative estimates frontal eddy size, height extent of roof cavities, far behavior provided. Concentration calculation upwind, near-building, downwind pollutant sources given. For upwind source, it possible to estimate required place upper limits on likely concentration. influences source location characteristics relative building geometry orientation considered. Methods effective due flush vents, effect changes in rooftop summarized. Current cavity models presented. Numerous graphs important expressions have been prepared facilitate computations quick patterns levels specific simple buildings. Detailed recommendations additional work
