摘要: The Zoige Basin on the eastern Tibetan Plateau has largest area of highland peatlands in China. However, development history these is still poorly understood. Understanding how carbon-rich ecosystems responded to change Asian summer monsoons during Holocene will provide insight into peatland carbon accumulation processes under different climate boundary conditions. Here, we document timing initiation and expansion histories using 59 new basal peat ages across Basin, with 29 for analysis 30 additional lateral analysis. Also, synthesized from 26 sites records at four previous studies this region. results show that widespread 11.5-10 7-6 kyr (1 = 1000 cal. yr BP) minimum periods occurred after 5 kyr. Our multiple along eight transects slopes are a dominant control rates, very slow less variable rates >0.4 degrees. Furthermore, found significant relationship between depths 85 sites, suggesting relatively uniform properties.
