LIPAc personnel protection system for realizing radiation licensing conditions on injector commissioning with deuteron beam

摘要: The performance validation of the Linear IFMIF Prototype Accelerator (LIPAc), up to energy 9 MeV deuteron beam with 125 mA continuous wave (CW), is planned in Rokkasho, Japan. There are three main phases LIPAc validation: Injector commissioning, RFQ commissioning and commissioning. was started by H+ D+ beam. To apply radiation licensing for entering/leaving to/from accelerator vault should be under control, access has prohibited any person during operation. Personnel Protection System (PPS) developed adapt conditions. requests that PPS must manage accumulated current. So, overall time injector operation, Pulse Duty Management (PDMS) as a configurable subsystem part PPS. PDMS tested (as simulated D+) confirm it can handle inhibit from before accumulation above threshold value specified condition. In this paper, design configuration these systems result tests presented.
