摘要: Fatty acid metabolism and triacylglycerol synthesis are critical processes for the survival of hibernating mammals that undergo a prolonged fasting period. synthase, fatty-acid-CoA ligase, diacylglycerol acyltransferase, monoacylglycerol acyltransferase activities were measured in liver white brown adipose tissue, order to determine whether enzymes lipogenesis vary seasonally during hibernation yellow-bellied marmot (Marmota flaviventris). Compared with mid-winter hibernation, fatty synthase activity was higher all three tissues early spring when marmots emerged from mid-summer they feeding, consistent acids carbohydrate-rich summer diet. Fatty-acid-CoA ligase highest tissue would be expected high; also high summer. In liver, however, specific suggesting may prominent winter. Monoacylglycerol activity, which aid retention essential fatty-acids, 80-fold than or but did not seasonally. Its dependence on palmitoyl-CoA suggests divalent cation might play role enzyme activation. The hepatic very low density lipoprotein important movement muscle rewarming occurs periodically hibernation. These studies suggest lipid marmot, requirements this hibernator metabolism.
