摘要: A strain of Escherichia coli was isolated in which dihydrofolate reductase not detected by an enzyme assay or competition for antibody. This requires methionine, glycine, a purine, and thymidine growth addition to the auxotrophic requirements parent strain. It found be useful as recipient plasmids harboring genes.
