摘要: Abstract Solar energy is one of the more abundant sources renewable energy. It would be desirable that it stable over time than other energies with high interannual variability like hydropower. In this study we analyse sunshine hours and precipitation Spain, aim comparing reliability solar to An analysis in respect has not been done before. We have used data from almost 100 stations WMO–AEMET (Spanish State Agency for Meteorology) network, applied two indices, coefficient (CV) speed convergence, defined as number years needed fully characterize a site. The main result several times lower most exception northern coast. southwestern peninsular area stands out respect. This characterized at same by highest hours, convergence low maximum departure annual long-term mean. All make optimal very reliable placing power plants.
