摘要: The genus Morinda belongs to the family Rubiaceae. Among many species comprising this genus, six are of some pharmaceutical and technical importance (Kern et al. 1976). One these is citrifolia which occurs in India Southeast Asia. Its leaves roots used treatment hypertension or as a diuretic laxative. A more recent study (Younos 1990) shows that extracts exhibit an analgesic probably sedative effect on mice. lucida, another plant dealt with Chapter, grows central Africa. Natives Africa use diuretic, purgative leprosy, fever, malaria, yellow diarrhea dysentery
