摘要: Integrins are cell adhesion receptors that mediate cell–cell and cell–extracellular matrix interactions. The extracellular domains of these possess binding sites for a diverse range protein ligands. Ligand is divalent cation dependent involves well-defined motifs in the ligand. can dynamically regulate their affinity ligands (inside-out signaling). This ability to rapidly modulate state key involvement such processes as migration platelet aggregation. review will focus on two aspects integrin function: first, molecular basis ligand–integrin interactions and, second, underlying mechanisms controlling integrins ligands.Key words: integrins, ligand binding, modulation.
