摘要: The lack of specific symptoms and signs in patients with tuberculous meningitis makes early diagnosis difficult. To our knowledge, there has been no report the literature focusing on younger than 1 year age. In this report, we reviewed clinical features laboratory findings seven infants encountered during a 15-year period. All had fever, cough, alternation consciousness at presentation. Five bulging anterior fontanel, five generalized tonic-clonic seizures. purified protein derivative skin test was positive six patients. Six hyponatremia. abnormal cerebrospinal fluid findings, them demonstrated cell counts less 500 cells/mm(3) lymphocytic predominance.
