摘要: The case of a child admitted to hospital with acute onset hemiparesis and seizure is presented. Extensive evaluation an ischemic event in the form brain infarct found on magnetic resonance imaging was inconclusive. Two months later, patient referred severe hydrocephalus, which managed ventriculoperitoneal shunting presence normal ventricular cerebrospinal fluid. shunt complicated by distal end infection.
