摘要: Metastasis is incontrovertibly linked to poor cancer patient survival. Cancer treatments that inhibit metastasis are predicted improve outcomes by preventing dissemination. However, control in patients necessitates an understanding of the biological drivers metastasis. Drivers can be thought as factors promote tumour dissemination, required at least for a part metastatic process. Yet, presently specific molecular largely remain unidentified, and very little evidence ubiquitous metastasis-specific driver gene mutations has been identified date (1,2).
