摘要: Summary Background. Malignant melanoma (MM) is a very aggressive tumour. Although surgical excision of MM in the early stages has good prognosis, it often fails to completely inhibit tumour progression. Methylene blue photodynamic therapy (MB-PDT) technique that induces tissue damage by reactive oxygen species (ROS). Aim. To investigate efficacy and potential use MB-PDT restraining aggressiveness analysing levels proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) heparanase (HPSE, molecular marker invasion) mouse model. Methods. Expression PCNA two HPSE isoforms were analysed using immunohistochemistry (IHC) after mice. Tumour volume weight also measured. Results. Two treatments with promoted decrease 99% 75% compared untreated mice (P < 0.05). Using IHC, expression for 95% both (P < 0.05) was found. Conclusion. cheap efficient method decreasing thus disease This reduction mediated downregulation heparanases.
