摘要: Aflatoxins are a group of naturally-occurring carcinogens that known to contaminate different human and animal foodstuffs. Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) is the most genotoxic hepatocarcinogenic compound all aflatoxins. In this report, we explore capacity β-D-glucan (Glu) reduce DNA damage induced by AFB1 in mouse hepatocytes. For purpose, applied comet assay groups animals were first administered Glu three doses (100, 400 700 mg/kg bw, respectively) and, 20 min later, 1.0 AFB1. Liver cells obtained at 4, 10 16 h after chemical administration examined. The results showed no protection with low dose polysaccharide, but they did reveal antigenotoxic activity exerted two high doses. addition, co-crystallization between both compounds, determined their fusion points analyzed molecules UV spectroscopy. data suggested formation supramolecular complex β-D-glucan.
