摘要: We describe a child with familial hypocalciuric hypercalcemia (FHH) in whom the seemed to interfere tissue healing after tympanoplasty. Consequently, he was placed on cinacalcet (30 mg/day), changed 2 weeks 60 mg/day. The treatment resulted decrease serum parathyroid hormone (PTH) from 148 32 pg/mL (normal 7–75) and ionized calcium 1.48 1.23 mmol/L (1.13–1.34), as well successful of revised surgical scar. Over 12-month period no complications were noted. conclude that may be considered new, currently only, tool treating children symptomatic FHH.
