摘要: Secondary hyperparathyroidism from inadequate calcium absorption in the gut, is underlying pathophysiology for rachitic changes hereditary vitamin D–resistant rickets (HVDRR). We describe a novel use of Cinacalcet to treat child with HVDRR whom conventional modes therapy had be discontinued. high-dose oral effectively normalized metabolic abnormalities and bone condition. The relative ease administration calcimimetic as once- or twice-daily preparation, compared traditional intravenous administration, should encourage its move frontline treatment disorder. © 2013 American Society Bone Mineral Research.
