摘要: Background Measurement of service content is necessary to understand what services actually provide and explain variation in outcomes. There no consensus about how measure care mental health services. Method Content measures for use were identified through a search electronic databases, hand searching references from selected studies consultation with experts the field. Measures are presented an organising methodological framework. Studies which introduced or cited read investigations empirical associations between outcomes identified. Results Twenty five identified, used three different data collection methods information sources. Seven these have been identify links outcomes, most commonly Assertive Community Treatment settings. Discussion developed can content. However, there need demonstrate more clearly theoretical basis, robust psychometric properties feasibility range Further comparison reliability measurement needed. Contradictory findings may reflect measures' uncertain reliability, that crucial process variables not being measured. Conclusion providing greater depth nature interventions In absence gold standard measure, multi-methods approach should be adopted.
