摘要: The process of cortical expansion in the central nervous system is a key step mammalian brain development to ensure its physiological function. Radial glial (RG) cells are cell type contributing this progress as intermediate neural progenitor responsible for an increase number neurons. In review, we discuss current understanding RG during neurogenesis and provide further information on mechanisms neurodevelopmental diseases stem cell-related tumorigenesis. Knowledge neuronal relative will bridge benchmark research through translational studies clinical therapeutic treatments these diseases.
