摘要: Abstract The rate of Toxoplasma gondii seropositivity in patients diagnosed with pediatric obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) is investigated. avidity levels, antitoxoplasma IgG, and IgM are investigated using the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method to examine serums 42 OCD (DSM-IV criteria) 45 healthy individuals control group. Anti-toxoplasma IgG was found two (4.8%) among cases. not detected any patient. toxoplasma levels determined have anti-toxoplasma were 35±7.07. In group, however, four (8.9%) children. However, children, level 33±2.44. No statistically significant difference between group terms seropositivity, ( p >0.05). results our study indicate that infection has no major role etiology OCD.
