摘要: Abstract In this work, novel osmium electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction and hydrogen oxidation in 0.5 M H2SO4, have been developed. The syntheses were performed by thermolysis of Os3(CO)12 Os3(CO)12/Vulcan®, two reaction media, N2 (in the absence solvents) n-octane, order to evaluate effect these parameters on electrocatalytic activity new materials. solvent-free pathway, different temperatures 120–320 °C range) times (5, 7 10 h) explored; n-octane done at reflux temperature, 30 72 h. products characterized structurally FT-IR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction scanning electron microscopy, electrochemically room temperature rotating disk electrode measurements, using cyclic linear sweep voltammetry. Some materials prepared both media can efficiently perform and/or reaction, i.e. those pyrolysis Os3(CO)12/Vulcan® N2, 180 °C/7 h, 320 °C/5 h, 320 °C/7 h 320 °C/10 h, as well synthesized (from Os precursors); latter, addition, important property being tolerant carbon monoxide some extent, contrast platinum, which is easily deactivated even traces CO.
