摘要: The forward scattering of cold neutrons in small-angle experiments on macromolecules dissolved mixtures light and heavy water is predominantly determined by the large incoherent cross section hydrogen atoms leading to an isotropic background level. probability per unit solid angle for samples rich H20 approximately equal fraction primary beam which has not been transmitted through sample, divided full 47t. When using camera D11 at high flux reactor Grenoble [Ibel (1976), J. Appl. Cryst. 9, 296-309-1 this simple relation fulfilled within +__5~ a 1 mm thick sample HzO 281.8 K 1-0 nm wavelength. In D20, coherent same order as one, about one half all those had removed from are scattered into angles. Our experimental results derived graphs allow us determine effective any volume D20 H20/D20 around room temperature accurate transmission experiment conjunction with measurement single thickness, wavelengths 0.45 1.0 nm.
