摘要: The phase structure of isolated bacterial lipid A, the anchor lipopolysaccharides outer membrane Gram-negative bacteria, has been investigated by neutron small-angle scattering. shape scattering curves obtained at different H2O/2H2O ratios revealed a lamellar organisation A neutral pH both above and below its main temperature (approximately 40–45°C). Analysis interpretation corresponding thickness distance distribution functions aggregates led to model in which molecules form bilayer about 5 nm thickness. This value for bilayer, as well neutron-scattering density profile across can be explained molecular shows interdigitation fatty acid chains A.
