摘要: Abstract Background To compare outcomes between mobile-bearing (MB) and fixed-bearing (FB) in bilateral total knee replacements. Methods The MEDLINE, EMBASE Cochrane Library databases were searched. Randomized controlled trials of arthroplasty with one each design implanted identified. Weighted mean differences (WMDs) pooled risk ratios (RRs) calculated using fixed- or random-effects models. Results Twelve studies identified a 807 patients 1614 knees. All RCTs high quality low bias. No statistical difference was found MB FB at 2- to 5-year follow-up terms America Knee Society score (WMD: − 1.29, 95% CI: − 5.65 3.06), pain − 3.26, − 10.45 3.93), range motion − 4.16, − 9.97 1.66), reoperation (RR: 1.00, 0.28 3.60), radiolucent lines 1.51, 0.70 3.24). results similar 1-, 5- 8-, > 8-year follow-up. Patient's satisfaction 0.85, 0.54 1.34), complication (≤ 2-year, RR: 0.55, 0.29 1.04; > 2-year, 1.0, CI = 0.73 1.38) also showed no two groups. Conclusions Based on this meta-analysis we are unable detect the superiority as compared FB. More randomized larger sample size longer needed evaluate these kinds prosthesis. Level evidence Therapeutic II.
