摘要: The purported advantages of mobile-bearing knee include increased survivorship and restoration more natural kinematics compared to a standard fixed-bearing design. To evaluate these claims, an extensive review the available literature was undertaken. We clinical function, including patient preference. found no difference in at 12 23 years. Kinematic profiles both designs did not differ significantly: rotation, flexion, extension were comparable. Studies evaluating same showed range motion, preference, scores, midterm follow-up. Both capable producing excellent long-term results outcomes if properly implanted. evidence does point superiority one design over another function.
