摘要: This study disclosed the close correlation between characteristic developmental change of human cerebral vessels and occurrence periventricular leukomalacia (PVL), as judged by anticollagen type 6 immunohistochemical analysis. The earlier appearance collagen 6-positive in deep white matter supports concept that medullary vein, a terminal branch internal develops than cortical subcortical veins perforating artery because latter was not stained early gestation. In cases with an old lesion PVL distribution lesions abnormal differed gestation age. These results suggest its correlates development arteries. Thus discrepancy arteries, revealing slow maturation, veins, may be important predisposing factor for PVL. Furthermore, widespread closely related to involvement transcortical tract damage, terms specific motor or intellectual disabilities.
