摘要: This work presents and discusses the friction behaviour of a NiCrBSi coating lubricated by CuO nanoparticle suspension (nanolubricant or nanofluid) in polyalphaolefin (PAO6). nanoparticles were separately dispersed at 0.5 2.0 wt% PAO6. Friction reduction properties obtained using block-on-ring tribometer, where blocks coated with alloy laser cladding technique. Tests made under loads 165 214 N, sliding speed m/s total distance 1800 m. Worn surfaces on characterised EDS XPS. The study led to following conclusions: all nanolubricants tested exhibited reductions compared base oil; antifriction wear can be attributed third body tribosinterization mechanisms proved XPS results, respectively.
