Efficacy of dog-appeasing pheromone (DAP) for ameliorating separation-related behavioral signs in hospitalized dogs

摘要: Les chiens hospitalises dans les cliniques veterinaires manifesteront probablement des signes d'anxiete causes par la separation lors de l'hospitalisation. L'etude a evalue l'effet pheromone d'apaisement (PAC) sur 10 comportementaux types lies chez hospitalises. Un groupe traite PAC (n = 24) ete compare un temoin au placebo 19). Il s'est produit une amelioration generale sans «vigilance» et «anorexie» traites PAC; baisses marquees ont observees pour l'elimination (P 0,038), le lechage excessif 0,005) va-et-vient 0,017). resultats suggerent que l'usage du pourrait reduire, patients, l'anxiete, detresse peur causees eventuellement faciliter retablissement
