摘要: The aim of this study was to investigate the effects 17β-estradiol (E2), selective ERα agonist 16α-LE2, and estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) raloxifene on remodeling processes during development myocardial hypertrophy (MH) in a mouse model pressure overload. Myocardial ovariectomized female C57Bl/6J mice induced by transverse aortic constriction (TAC). Two weeks after TAC, placebo treated developed left ventricular mild systolic dysfunction. Estrogen treatment, but not 16α-LE2 or reduced TAC MH compared placebo. E2, supported maintenance cardiac function comparison with Nine induction overload, present all groups, most pronounced group. Ejection fraction (EF) decreased animals. However, animals showed smaller reduction EF than E2 diminished fibrosis TGFβ CTGF gene expression. Treatment survival rate significantly treatment. In conclusion, slowed down progression dysfunction nine Raloxifene did reduce improved two TAC. able maintain long term period.
