摘要: Summary The accuracy of a technique for centesis the bicipital bursa using 9 cm, spinal needle inserted through tendon biceps brachii muscle was evaluated. A veterinary radiologist who had no previous experience performing and an equine clinician little in procedure, attempted to inject solution aqueous radiopaque contrast medium into bursae 8 horses approach which accessed by directing origin until cartilage lateral portion intertubercular groove contacted. Centesis this having signs disease consistently successful if cubital joint flexed scapulohumoral extended.
