摘要: This study represents four new methods for fault zone detection in series-compensated lines and compares them with each other some previous methods. Among the proposed methods, two are based on direct current component of voltages currents, operate using both line ends data. The third method uses only one end data is analysis instantaneous behaviour. fourth also acts basis power waveform besides three well-known evaluated a large number simulated cases by system computer-aided design. results verify validation
