摘要: This paper reports on an extensive study to compare the performance of 8 preselected high power line protection systems Hydro-Quebec series compensated network. The first presents evaluation commissioning aspects and manufacturing quality tested relays. It then describes simulated network, relay testing procedure, laboratory test results obtained a modern real time system simulator. Published lines are scarce this provides valuable information for utility engineers. A total 115,000 network disturbances were recorded 20 different 735 kV lines; fractional 84,030 cases presented in paper. approach using simulation proved be efficient technique evaluating performance. demonstrated that two best principles applied those based current differential segregated phase comparison. analysis does not take into account telecommunication requirements or other external constraints. >
