摘要: PURPOSEThis study was conducted to evaluate clinical prognostic factors predictive of the probability recurrence desmoid tumor (DT).PATIENTS AND METHODSSixty-three patients with histologically confirmed diagnosis DT were retrospectively studied. Median age at 13 years. Patient distribution by site as follows: 61% extremities, 18% head and neck, 13% trunk (including 5% intraabdominal), 8% multicentric lesions. All had partial or complete resections; 20 also received radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy.RESULTSAt a median follow-up time 6 years since first treatment, overall actuarial having one more recurrences 75%. Age, sex, site, size, number previous no significant impact on likelihood recurrence.
