摘要: A description is given for an automated method determining dielectric constant and loss by the measurement of time response to a step voltage. Attention paid circuits necessary achieve high accuracy (0.1%) sensitivity (tan δ=10−5) over audio subaudio frequencies (104 10−4 Hz). These include 100‐V generator accurate 5 ppm, charge detector with time‐independent bias current 30 fA, clock that can control sampling from μs 10 s. In addition, numerical Laplace transform, based on cubic spline, described preserves data when they are transformed into frequency domain.
