摘要: OCTOPAMINE, a biogenic amine, occurs widely in the nervous systems of vertebrates and invertebrates1–3. It has been found single neurones central system marine mollusc, Aplysia4 also peripheral neurosecretory lobster5,6 from which calcium-dependent release octopamine demonstrated7,8. Specific receptors9 activated adenylate cyclases10 have invertebrate tissue. This led to suggestion neurotransmitter role for invertebrates1,3. In absence, however, an example effect stimulating identified containing neurone on its target or end organ is known, true function remains obscure. paper aims demonstrate that locust Schistocerca americana gregaria. neurone, shown contain octopamine, innervates muscle where it functions as neuromodulator by potentiating synaptic potential tension produced motoneurone. That this mediated stimulation supported action exogenously applied octopamine.
