摘要: The peripheral nerves of the suboesophageal ganglion locust,Locusta migratoria have been investigated with respect to their innervation by dorsal unpaired median (DUM) neurons. DUM neuron supply periphery was found be strikingly sparse: No segmental neurons could in all three mouthpart segments. While mandibular segment appears missing entirely, both maxillary and labial are supplied a single, intersegmentally projecting prothoracic neuron.
