摘要: In Uganda, a case-finding and treatment programme has been implemented by Medecine Sans Frontieres (MSF) the Ministry of Health in North West-Nile province. Data collected hospital Moyo from January 1987 to June 1991 were analyzed. Forty eight hundred twenty two cases trypanosomiasis due T. B. gambiense recorded. Cumulative incidence rate for this period was 5.6%. Passive active strategies used, both based on Card Agglutination Test (CATT) as screening tool, followed parasitological examinations. The mobile teams identified 1906 4,822 (39.5%). Case fatality 2.6%. This study confirmed association between social political disruptions, large movements population extension trypanosomiasis. Active seems quickly reduce disease prevalence hyper-endemic areas. An integrated is then necessary control sleeping sickness transmission.
