摘要: The oncogenic properties of the high risk human papillomaviruses (HPV) E7 protein are attributed to its interaction with retinoblastoma susceptibility gene product RB1 and other related proteins. We report here generation a transgenic model expressing oncogene HPV16 in thyroid follicular cells, under control bovine thyroglobulin promoter. Transgenics develop differentiated functionally regulated goitres, due cell proliferation accumulation colloid. On background this colloid goitre, mice foci more actively proliferating cells that become invasive ultimately tend loose their differentiation. Old display secondary tumour nodules mimic various histological aspects cancers: papillary carcinomas. development totally undifferentiated carcinoma is contrast exceptional. conclude RB1, and/or proteins, responsible for strict negative characterizes adult. Inactivation these proteins results continuous growth thyroid, without affecting differentiation, function regulation. Given frequency progression highly malignant phenotypes, genes good candidates as targets mutations or deletions early steps carcinogenesis. search such cancers will test if hypothesis holds true.
