摘要: Abstract Object The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship axial diffusivity (AD) and radial (RD) in peritumoral edema high grade glioma, metastasis, meningioma, differentiate tumor-infiltrated from pure vasogenic edema. Materials methods Twenty patients with high-grade glioma 16 meningioma or metastatic tumor were enrolled our study. All cases confirmed by histopathological Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) performed all patients. Peritumoral considered edema, metastasis Fractional anisotropy (FA), mean (MD), AD, RD, regression coefficient RD AD (RC RD–AD ), infiltration index (TII) analyzed compared. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis conducted demonstrate their differential effectiveness. Results RC (0.724 ± 0.125) significantly higher than that (0.571 ± 0.111) ( P = 0.001). FA (0.175 ± 0.025) lower (0.203 ± 0.035) = 0.007). Other parameters showed no significant difference between 2 types ROC most effective parameter distinguishing Using a threshold 0.6, sensitivity 0.85 specificity 0.69 can be achieved . Conclusion Analysis may reflect differences diffusion characteristics surrounding helpful detecting glioma.
