摘要: The present invention discloses a medical device selected from group consisting of devices, implants wound dressings, comprises at least one insoluble proton sink or source (PSS). is provided useful for killing living target cells (LTCs), otherwise disrupting vital intracellular processes and/or intercellular interactions the LTC upon contact. PSS comprises, inter alia, (i) providing buffering capacity; and (ii) means conductivity electrical potential. effectively pH homeostasis balance within confined volume LTCs while efficiently preserving LTCs' environment.
