摘要: The performance of a heat exchanger with tree-like flow passages has been examined. hierarchical bifurcating in the mimic those seen vascular systems plants and animals. Overall system was examined computationally. results, cast terms commonly defined dimensionless parameters, show that can be characterized manner similar to traditional compact designs. Previous use for applications typically limited microscale networks. mesoscale network this paper resulted pressure wall temperature distributions previously studied total drop two orders magnitude smaller bulk fluid increase an order larger than under conditions studied.
