摘要: This paper investigates the heat transfer performance of a radial microchannel exchanger with varying cross-sectional-area channels. The thermal axially channels is compared uniform first model one-dimensional thermal-resistance based model, and second three-dimensional conjugate computational fluid dynamics analysis using FLUENT software. sink has footprint area 3.5 cm 2 flows radially inward. inlet aspect ratio varied from 0.4 to 1.0, outlet fixed at 0.5. Inclusion axial conduction effects are found be imperative for accurate modeling configuration model. shows that when constrained by channel-outlet area, increasing channel-inlet will improve performance. At low pumping powers, present scheme have equivalent or better than performances other experimentally numerically investigated designs.
