摘要: The use of near-surface-mounted (NSM) fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) rods is a promising technology for increasing flexural and shear strength deficient reinforced concrete (RC) members. structural behavior RC elements strengthened with NSM FRP needs to be fully characterized. In this research, 8 full-size beams were tested. Carbon deformed used strengthening. variables examined in the tests spacing rods, strengthening pattern, end anchorage presence internal steel reinforcement. paper, performance tested modes failure are presented discussed. Test results confirm that can greatly increase capacity elements, efficiency varies depending on variables. Results experimental compared predictions simple model, showing reasonable agreement.
